Cyberpunk 2077 is an upcoming open-world, action-adventure story and a role playing video game. The game will be release on 16 April 2020 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Google Stadia.


Cyberpunk 2077 is set in Night City, a dystopian megalopolis. Night city is an open world with 6 different regions. Each filled with the obsession for power and glamour. Players will take the role of V, a customizable mercenary outlaw who is a master of hacking, machinery and combat. V has an arsenal range of guns and weaponries that will be handful exploring the vast city. The aim is to take the riskiest job of your life and try to find the key to immortality, a prototype one-of-a-kind implant!
You have the chance to customize V’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle. Just remember that each and every choice you make will change everything around you.

Gameplay

You can create your own character as soon as you start playing Cyberpunk 2077. The character’s face, sex, hairstyles, body, background (nomad, street kid, or corporate), and clothing are customizable. Each change you make for the character will change the storyline and his interactions with non-player characters (NPCs).

There are 3 classes: NetRunner (hacking), Techie (machinery), and Solo (combat). There are no pre-defined classes for V at the start. V’s Strength, Constitution, Intelligence, Reflex etc. will be change based on the class players choose.

Different weapons including blades, handguns, shotguns, rifles, sniper rifles, hacking. three types of ranged weapons: Power (standard), Tech (which penetrate walls and enemies), and Smart (with homing bullets). Each can be customized and modified.  There’s also a black markets offering some cool abilities.

Dynamic weather and day/night time will affect the NPCs behavior and gameplay

There are some Mini games in the Cyberpunk 2077 include hacking, boxing, auto racing

Explore the night city on foot or use a vehicle. Each and every vehicle can be customized. You can also enjoy Autonomous cars that allow you to only focus on the battle while transportation.

Buy apartments or garages for your weapons, computers etc.

There are so many companions through the game. Use consumables like energy or healing drinks, or use object and implants for so many reasons like translating implants to communicate with players who don’t speak your language. There’s also an implants in V’s brain that allow him to experience the emotions and muscle movements of another person.

Setting

Night City is an American metropolis in the Free State of California, halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco (where the city of Morro Bay is in real life). There’s no other place like it. The Night City’s surrounding area, the Badlands, can also be explored. Everyday aspects such as waste collection, maintenance, and public transportation is based on robotics. Corporations and the army are control The Internet.

Battles happen every day in the night city between gangs for dominance. So many Homeless people live in the night city streets. They don’t have access to cybernetic modification that is the main reason of violence. Psycho Squad is the armed force that deal with these threats. Plus citizen are allowed to carry weapons in public for self-defense.

Night city consists of six regions:

– The corporate City Center (“where the biggest corporations compete to make the most showy headquarters possible”)
– Immigrant-inhabited Watson (“dense tangle of life and commerce”)
– Luxurious Westbrook (tourist-friendly area)
– Suburban Heywood
– Gang-infested Pacifica (“a distant part of the city that has been partially abandoned and overrun by gangs”)
– industrial Santo Domingo
