War Thunder is the most comprehensive free-to-play, cross-platform, MMO military game for Windows, Linux, Mac, PlayStation4 and Xbox One dedicated to aviation and armoured vehicles from World War II and the Cold War. You can find yourself defending your teammates on the ground from an air raid with anti-aircraft guns, shooting down enemy planes and helicopters with a firestorm from multiple rocket launchers or trying to sink an enemy warship with a torpedo from a fast attack boat. Players can control aircraft, tanks and ships from a variety of nations including the Soviet Union, Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan, France, Italy, the United States and in the Chinese version of the game, China.

The game is divided into three main game modes for ground, air and naval forces. This includes arcade, realistic and simulator.
